Audio Solutions began as a service company, working with houses of worship in need of professional advice about sound systems. Since then, we have grown to provide the highest quality of audio production, sound system design and training throughout the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area.

Our owner, John Knox, CTS has over twenty years’ experience as a professional musician and has spent over a decade honing his skills as a professional system designer and mixer. At home in the smallest churches or the largest concert halls, he has the artistic ear of a musician and the practical facility of a technician.

As a full-time audio technician, John has been privileged to work with consummate professionals on stage and off. Some of his recent projects have been: The USO’s Hope and Freedom Tours, the Blues Alley Jazz Society's Big Band Jam! and the Fairfax Corner Summer Concert Series.

Working throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan area, we noted a void in the pro sound market. There are sound companies who specialize in inexpensive sound reinforcement (using inferior equipment and inexperienced labor) and companies who specialize in concert-size sound reinforcement that tend to be expensive and have equipment that is gargantuan or road-worn, qualities that do not appeal to event planners for small or medium sized venues.

Very few companies can employ a smart-looking, full-range, professional sound system with a quick setup time that a wedding band can afford. Audio Solutions does that while providing trained system operators to make the show look and sound its best.
